Curbside bulky-item service
City of Conway residents can put washers, dryers, bedding, electronics, furniture and bagged clothing at the curb by 7 a.m. on their regular collection day. Building materials, roofing, rocks and concrete are not accepted.

Garbage and recycling carts must be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. and brought back in by 7:00 p.m. on collection day. Items hidden behind a parked car may be missed.

Yard debris can go in a pile or in paper bags at the curb by 7 a.m.; plastic bags are not accepted, and limbs can’t be longer than 4 feet.
Outside city limits
If you live outside the city, such as in Carolina Forest or Socastee, Horry County Solid Waste Authority convenience centers are open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Use the Conway Bypass
SC 22 (the Conway Bypass) is a four-lane freeway from US 501 north of Conway to US 17 in Myrtle Beach. It’s often an easier route for a moving truck than the busy US 501 corridor.
