CONWAY COLLEGE MOVERS
College & Dorm Moving in Conway & the Grand Strand
Move-in, move-out and summer storage for students and parents without the minivan shuffle.
Coastal Carolina University in Conway brings thousands of students to Horry County, and a lot of them move at the same time. Dorms fill up in late summer, apartment leases near campus turn over together, and spring move-out lands right as the beach season starts to pick up traffic on US-501 and SC-544. Parents driving in from out of state often have one weekend to get it all done.
A & M Friendly Movers moves students and their families across Conway, Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, Socastee, Surfside Beach, North Myrtle Beach and the rest of the Grand Strand. We move dorm rooms, off-campus apartments and shared houses, and we can store furniture over the summer so it does not ride home and back again. Every crew member is a background-checked, drug-tested W-2 employee. Always check your school’s and your building’s move-in rules first, then send them to us and we will plan around them.

Why Conway Students and Parents Choose A & M
Built for Busy Weekends
Move-in and move-out weekends around Conway are crowded, and time slots can be tight. Book early and we will schedule a crew to meet you when you need it. We bring dollies, pads and straps so a dorm or apartment move is done in a few hours, not a whole day of trips back and forth to the car.
Summer and Semester Storage
Heading home for the summer or studying somewhere else for a semester? We pick up your furniture and boxes, keep them in our secure storage, and bring them back to your next apartment or dorm when you are ready. It saves a long drive with a loaded car and the cost of buying furniture twice.
Parents Can Stay Home
If you live hours away, you do not have to take off work and drive down just to carry a mattress. Set the move up by phone, and our crew handles the loading and unloading while your student points to where things go. You can call an owner directly with any questions before or after the move.
Crews You Can Trust
Everyone we send is an A & M W-2 employee who has passed a background check and drug test. We never use subcontractors or day laborers. When a crew is working in a residence hall or a student apartment, parents want to know exactly who is showing up, and with us they always do.
Apartment Walk-Ups Handled
Many student apartments around Conway and Carolina Forest are walk-ups with long carries from the parking lot. We take apart beds and desks that will not fit through the door, carry them safely up and down the stairs, and put them back together in the new room so your student can study that night.
Priced for Student Moves
Local moves are priced hourly by crew size, so a single dorm room gets a small crew and a shared house gets the people it needs. Call and an owner or our office calls back within 15 minutes, 8am to 8pm. We take credit and debit cards and checks, and a $100 deposit holds your date.
