Outside the subdivisions, you will find rural properties with long driveways and outbuildings, and we plan for those too.

Longs center on SC 9
The county’s Longs center is at 797 Hwy 9 West, beside the Longs Fire Station. It’s open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, but it is closed Tuesdays.
Red Bluff center option
The Red Bluff center at 7554 Hwy 905 is also closed Tuesdays, so schedule your dump runs for another day.
Parkway from SC 9
SC 31, the Carolina Bays Parkway, is a six-lane, limited-access highway with an interchange at SC 9 in Longs. It’s often the fastest truck route south.
Robert Edge Parkway
The North Myrtle Beach Connector, now Robert Edge Parkway, opened in 2009. It runs from the Carolina Bays Parkway east to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.
Four cubic yards daily
County centers are only for unincorporated residents, up to 4 cubic yards a day. All centers close on New Year’s Day, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
