FishHawk is a large master-planned community in southeast Hillsborough County, built around FishHawk Ranch and bordered by the Alafia River to the north and Boyette Road to the south. Its population has grown from under 2,000 to more than 26,000 as the ranch filled in, and Park Square, the town center, sits right in the middle of it all. FishHawk Ranch is made up of dozens of separate villages, from Garden District to Starling, each with its own HOA and community development district rules. That means rules on truck parking, move hours, and how long a storage container can stay in the driveway. Some sections, like Bayberry Glen and Kinglet Ridge, are gated, so we set up gate access before moving day. We also keep trucks off the grass and clear of the trails and sidewalks that run all through the neighborhoods.

Homes here run from townhouses and cottages to big two-story houses with pools and three-car garages, and the median home value is well over half a million dollars. Larger homes mean more rooms, more furniture, and often a piano or a home gym to move. We bring enough crew and padding for the job, protect floors and stair rails, and take apart and set back up beds, dining tables, and outdoor furniture. Many garages here are full, too, so we can pack and load those as well.

Families move to FishHawk for the schools, the trails, and the parks, and many work in Tampa or Brandon. With an average commute of close to 40 minutes, we plan around morning traffic on FishHawk Boulevard and Lithia Pinecrest Road. Newsome High School and Randall Middle School sit right on FishHawk Boulevard, so we plan around school drop-off too. Summer heat and afternoon storms are part of the plan too, so we start early and wrap everything well. If your closing dates do not line up, we offer short-term storage between homes.
