Davis Islands is a South Tampa neighborhood in the City of Tampa, built in the 1920s by developer D.P. Davis on land dredged from Hillsborough Bay. It sits just south of downtown, with Tampa General Hospital at the north tip and Peter O. Knight Airport at the south end. On the island, streets are narrow and lined with parked cars, and some homes have short driveways, so we scout parking ahead of time and bring the right size truck. If a large truck will not fit, we can shuttle with a smaller one so your move stays safe and on schedule.

Homes here range from original 1920s Mediterranean-style houses and apartment buildings to large newer homes and condos. Many newer and rebuilt homes are raised high off the ground for flood protection, which means tall front stairs, and condo buildings often want elevator reservations and proof of insurance before move day.
