Traffic is the big thing to plan around here. SR 60 near Brandon Exchange, the mall many locals still call Westfield Brandon, backs up at rush hour and on weekends, and the I-75 interchange can slow things down at any time. We like early starts, which also beat the summer heat and the afternoon thunderstorms that roll through most days from June to September. We wrap furniture and cover floors so a sudden storm does not ruin anything. If you are moving on a weekend, plan extra time around Brandon Exchange, where shopping traffic can fill the roads by late morning.
