SOUTH-CENTRAL PA MILITARY MOVERS
Military Moving in York & South-Central Pennsylvania
PCS and PPM moves for service members and families near Carlisle Barracks, NSA Mechanicsburg and across the York region.
Military orders rarely arrive on a convenient schedule. Service members and families connected to Carlisle Barracks and Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg, and those living in Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, York, Hanover and Gettysburg, need movers who can work on short notice and keep the paperwork straight. A & M Friendly Movers serves the whole region from our York office in Mount Wolf.
We take 5% off the total cost of your move as our thanks for your service. If you are handling a Personally Procured Move (PPM, the program many still call DITY), we can do the heavy lifting and help with the reimbursement paperwork so you get back what you are owed. Moving out of state for your next assignment? Our long-distance moves come with a binding estimate, a dedicated truck and a guaranteed delivery date. Tell us your report date when you call, and we will work backward from it.
Every mover on our crews is a background-checked, drug-tested W-2 employee. See how our military moving program works, visit our York movers page, or call 717-844-5125.
Why Military Families in South-Central PA Choose A & M
5% Off Your Move
Military families get 5% off the total cost of their move with A & M Friendly Movers. It applies to the whole move, not a single line item. Mention your service when you call for a quote, and our office will build the discount into your price from the start so there is nothing to chase later.
PPM Paperwork Help
A PPM lets you arrange your own move and get reimbursed, but the paperwork can be the hardest part. We handle the loading, transport and unloading, and we help you pull together the documents your transportation office needs for reimbursement. You focus on the new assignment while we keep the move organized.
Close to Both Installations
Our York office in Mount Wolf is an easy drive up I-83 to Mechanicsburg and Carlisle, so our crews reach homes near Carlisle Barracks and Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg without long travel days. We serve the Cumberland Valley towns around both, from Carlisle and Boiling Springs to Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill.
Binding Long-Distance Price
When orders send you out of Pennsylvania, our long-distance moves use a binding estimate: the price quoted is the price paid, and it never changes after booking. You get your own dedicated truck, the same W-2 crew door to door with no hand-offs, and a guaranteed delivery date you can plan your report date around.
Short Notice, No Fees
Report dates move and orders get amended. We never charge a rescheduling fee, for any reason, so a change from your command does not cost you extra. If your next home is not ready yet, we can hold belongings in our secure storage short or long term and deliver them when you arrive.
An Owner on the Phone
You talk to an owner, not a call center. If anything is damaged, an owner calls you the same day, and claims are resolved in 60 to 90 days. Matthew Treharn and Amber Hallaman run A & M day to day, and our crews are background-checked, drug-tested employees you can trust in your home.
