NORTHERN MARYLAND MILITARY MOVERS
Military Moving in Northern Maryland (PCS & PPM)
PCS and PPM moves for service members and their families near Aberdeen Proving Ground and across northern Maryland.
Military families in northern Maryland often live off post, in townhomes around Bel Air and Abingdon, homes in Edgewood and Aberdeen, or farther out in Baltimore and Carroll Counties. When orders come for Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County, or orders take you away from it, the timeline is rarely yours to choose. A & M Friendly Movers is a family-owned company that has been moving families since 2015, and our York, PA office serves military households across the region.
We help with PCS moves and with PPM moves, which many people still call DITY moves. For a PPM, we can do the loading, the driving, or the full move, and we help you keep the weight tickets, receipts and other paperwork you need for reimbursement. Every service member gets 5% off the total cost of the move. Your crew is made up of background-checked, drug-tested W-2 employees, never subcontractors.

Why Military Families in Northern Maryland Choose A & M
5% Off Your Move
Active duty service members and their families get 5% off the total cost of their move with us. It applies when you are moving across Harford County, from a rental near Aberdeen Proving Ground to a home in Bel Air, or out of Maryland entirely. Mention your service when you call and we will note it on your quote.
PPM Paperwork Help
A PPM move only pays off if the paperwork holds up. We help you keep what reimbursement usually depends on, including weight tickets, receipts and a clear record of the move, so you are not rebuilding your file from memory weeks later. Ask your transportation office for its exact requirements and we will work to them.
No Fee When Orders Change
Report dates shift and orders get amended. With us there is never a rescheduling fee, for any reason. If your date moves, call us and we will find a new one. Your $100 deposit stays on your booking and is applied to the cost of the move when it happens.
One Crew, Door to Door
For long-distance PCS moves, you get your own dedicated truck and the same W-2 crew from your Harford County door to your new one. There are no transfers to another company along the way. The price comes as a binding estimate, and your delivery date is guaranteed.
Storage Between Duty Stations
Housing at a new duty station is not always ready when you arrive. We offer short- and long-term secure storage with pickup and delivery, so your household goods can wait safely while you find a place to live. When you are ready, we bring everything to your door.
You Reach an Owner
When you call, you reach an owner or our office, not a call center. If anything is damaged, an owner calls you the same day, and claims are resolved in 60 to 90 days. Military families move more than most, and we want you to call us again for the next set of orders.
