If orders take you out of North Carolina, our long-distance moves come with a binding estimate. The price we quote is the price you pay, and it never changes after booking. Housing does not always open up the day you arrive. A base housing wait, a rental that is not ready, or a purchase still in closing can leave a gap. Our short- and long-term storage includes pickup and delivery, and if a closing slips by a day we can keep your things locked on the truck overnight.
PCS During Hurricane Season
A summer or fall PCS window overlaps hurricane season on the Carolina coast, which runs June 1 through November 30. If a storm shifts your move date, A & M never charges a rescheduling fee, for any reason. Your $100 deposit stays on your move, and we work with you on a new date as close to your plan as we can.

PCS Household Moves
Full household moves for a Permanent Change of Station, into or out of Wilmington, Leland and the Brunswick County beach towns. We pack, pad and load your household, then deliver and place furniture in the rooms you choose at the new home.
PPM Loading and Unloading
For a Personally Procured Move, you rent the truck or container and we supply the labor. Our hourly crews load rental trucks and PODS tightly and safely, and we help with the PPM reimbursement paperwork as well, so the process feels less overwhelming.
Packing for Military Families
Full or partial packing, with supplies available, so the household is boxed and labeled before the truck arrives. It helps most when one spouse is already at the new duty station and the other is juggling kids, a house sale and the move all at once.

If you are relocating to or from a coastal North Carolina base such as Camp Lejeune, call us with your dates and both addresses and we will tell you exactly how we can help with your move.
Yes. On a PPM, you arrange the truck or container and handle the move yourself, then file for reimbursement. We can load and unload that truck or container for you at an hourly rate, and we help with the reimbursement paperwork. Tell us how many rooms and any heavy items so we can size the crew properly.
Orders change, and so do report dates. A & M never charges a rescheduling fee, for any reason, and your $100 deposit stays applied to your move when the date shifts. If your new home is not ready when you arrive, we can hold your belongings in our secure storage and deliver when you are ready.
We take credit cards, debit cards, personal checks and certified checks. We do not accept cash. A $100 deposit at booking holds your date and comes off the total. For long-distance PCS moves, the binding estimate means the price you are quoted is the price you pay, with no changes after booking.
