YORK MOVING & STORAGE
Moving & Storage in York & South-Central Pennsylvania
Short and long-term storage with pickup and delivery, for the times your moving dates do not line up.
In south-central Pennsylvania, a lot of moves hit a gap. You sell your house in Hanover before the new one in Mechanicsburg is ready. A closing in Lancaster County slips a day. A new build near Hershey falls behind schedule over the winter. Or a college student in Carlisle or Gettysburg needs somewhere to keep things between semesters. That is where storage comes in, and where a mover that handles both makes life easier.
Our York office in Mount Wolf offers short and long-term storage with pickup and delivery for families across York and Adams Counties, Harrisburg, Hershey, Carlisle, Chambersburg, Red Lion, Dallastown, Shrewsbury, Lititz, Ephrata and Elizabethtown. We load your belongings, bring them to our secure storage and deliver them when you are ready. If a closing only slips by a day, we can hold your items overnight locked on the truck.
A & M Friendly Movers is family-owned and run by Matthew Treharn and Amber Hallaman. Learn more about our moving and storage service, see our York movers page, or call 717-844-5125.
Why South-Central PA Families Choose A & M for Moving & Storage
Pickup and Delivery Included
You do not have to rent a truck, haul everything to a unit and do it all again later. Our crew loads your home, takes your belongings to our secure storage and brings them back to your new address when it is ready. One company handles the whole path, start to finish.
Short or Long Term
Some families need storage for a week while a closing wraps up. Others need months while a new home is built or a job relocation settles. We offer both short and long-term storage, so you are not locked into a plan that does not fit your timeline.
Overnight on the Truck
Pennsylvania closings slip for all kinds of reasons. If yours moves by a day, we can hold your belongings overnight locked on the truck and deliver the next day. It avoids unloading into storage and loading back out, which saves time and reduces handling of your furniture.
Winter Build Delays
New construction around York, Harrisburg and Lancaster County can slow down in winter when weather holds up work. If your builder pushes back the move-in date, storage keeps your household safe while you wait. And if your moving date changes, there is never a rescheduling fee from us.
The Same Trusted Crews
The people who pack, load and store your things are background-checked, drug-tested W-2 employees, never subcontractors or day laborers. Your belongings are handled by the same kind of crew going into storage and coming back out, and they answer to a family business with owners on the phone.
Owner's Promise Applies
You talk to an owner, not a call center. If anything is damaged, an owner calls you the same day, and claims are resolved in 60 to 90 days. We are fully insured and licensed, with 850+ Google reviews across our locations from families who trusted us with their homes.
