Full-Service Home Moves
We load, drive and unload your whole household, from a Media condo to a five-bedroom home in Chester County. Furniture is padded and wrapped, floors and doorways are protected, and each piece is placed in the room you choose so you can sleep in your own bed that night.
Packing and Unpacking
Choose full packing or just the kitchen, china and fragile pieces. We bring boxes, tape and paper, label cartons by room, and can unpack at your new home so you are not living out of boxes for weeks after the move.
Furniture Disassembly and Reassembly
Bed frames, cribs, sectionals and dining tables often will not fit up a twin's narrow stair or through an old farmhouse door. We take them apart, bag and label the hardware, and put everything back together once it is inside.
Short-Term Home Storage
Between homes or waiting on a renovation? We pick up your belongings, hold them in our secure storage for as short or as long as you need, and deliver them to your new address when you are ready to move in.

Usually, with some planning. We look at the block, the front steps and where the truck can sit before move day. Some municipalities require a temporary parking permit to reserve curb space, so check with your borough or township early. We will plan the rest of the day around whatever space is available.
Yes. Moves between towns like Kennett Square, Media or West Chester and Wilmington, Newark or New Castle are part of our regular service area. A & M Friendly Movers is fully insured and keeps the same W-2 crew on your move from start to finish.
It happens, and we never charge a rescheduling fee. If your closing slips by a day, we can keep your belongings locked on the truck overnight. For longer delays we move everything into our secure storage and deliver it once you have the keys to your new home.
A $100 deposit reserves your date and is applied to your final bill. We accept credit and debit cards, personal checks and certified checks. We do not accept cash. Once you are booked, an owner is reachable if anything about your plans changes before move day.
